We work under your floor. We have since 1979.
Family and locally owned, out of a yard on Albion Street in Kenner. Plumbing, sewer, septic, sand pumping and mudjacking for New Orleans, Metairie, Kenner, Houma and Thibodaux.
Peterson Plumbing & Sand Pumping has been in business since 1979, and most of what we do happens where you cannot see it.
A leak under the slab. A sewer line made of old Orangeburg or cast iron that finally cracked. A floor with voids under it that has started to give. We find the problem with leak detection equipment, get to it with hydro-tunneling, and replace what failed. Underslab repairs carry a lifetime warranty.
Mark Peterson is the owner, and he is on every job. Customers name him in their Google reviews, and it is the first reason we give for calling us. He holds Louisiana Master Plumber license #1416, and our technicians are licensed.
Emergency service is what we specialize in, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Insurance claims are a specialty too. Estimates are free and same-day, and if we miss your call we get back to you the same business day. We also offer video line inspections.
The work goes out from the yard at 2400 Albion St in Kenner: service vans, a vac truck, a box truck and the sand services trucks. From there we cover New Orleans, Metairie, Kenner, Houma and Thibodaux. Call the office, tell us what the floor or the drain is doing, and we will come look at it. Pumping sand under a house, tunneling to a bad pipe or lifting a sunken slab, it is the same shop and the same owner.
You can pay us with American Express, cash, check, Discover, MasterCard or Visa.

From the moment I called the company, speaking with and meeting the owner and the crew who completed the job it was more like talking with friends than people I just met.
The job site was left clean. Friendly, professional and respectful. Definitely will call again for any plumbing needs.
